Bio:
Blake Allison is the Chief Executive and President of Financial Education & Literacy Advisers (FELA), an independent, Washington, DC-based financial education services company.

FELA designs, develops, and delivers outcome-based financial education and wellness programs that help people make ‘smart financial decisions everyday’. FELA reaches individuals at home, at work, at school, and in their communities.

Blake is very active in the financial education community and is committed to advancing financial literacy in businesses, schools, and communities around the country. He currently serves on the Maryland State Department of Education Advisory Board for Financial Education. He also is a member of the U.S. Department of Treasury product and services subcommittee. Blake speaks regularly at conferences and community events and co-hosts a national radio program on XM/Sirius on financial and entrepreneurial related topics. Blake is a prolific writer on the subject of financial education and personal financial responsibility. His contributions have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, and other major publications.

Prior to founding FELA, Blake worked for, or consulted to, some of the largest financial institutions domestically and abroad. Additionally, Blake was a partner in a Washington DC based boutique management consulting company where he helped entrepreneurs launch their businesses and high-growth companies bring new ideas to the market. Each of these experiences reinforced Blake’s resolve to provide individuals with a foundation of personal financial skills and wealth building strategies.

Blake has an MBA in finance from the College of William & Mary and a BBA in finance from James Madison University. He currently lives in Washington, DC.
