About the speakers

Pam Krueger is Executive Producer and Co-Anchor of all NETworth TV productions, including the one-hour “NETworth” special that was broadcast on more than 70 PBS stations, teaching viewers how to use online tools to manage their finances. Ms. Krueger also produced the “Investing Pays Off” broadcast series for young teens, which earned a CINE Award and was nominated for an Emmy in 2004. With nine years as a stockbroker under her belt, plus ten years as a Financial Reporter on San Francisco’s KGO-TV, TechTV and PTV, Ms. Krueger is a veteran business and personal finance journalist.

Maureen O’Brien is the Deputy Director and Director of Marketing for the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority. The Tuition Trust is a state agency which offers Ohio’s 529 college saving plan. Ohio’s 529 plan is one of the largest in the country with over $6.4 billion in total assets and over 750,000 accounts. Ms. O’Brien has been with the agency since 1990 and has over 20 years of experience working in public relations and marketing for non-profits organizations and corporations. She earned her marketing degree from Otterbein College. She is an active member of the American Marketing Association and is the chair for the College Savings Plans Network’s (CSPN) national marketing committee. CSPN is the national association for state 529 college savings plans. The College Savings Plans Network is an affiliate of the National Association of State Treasurers.

David A. Frisch, Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Financial Planner, is President and Director of Personal Financial Planning Services at Frisch Financial Group, Inc., a comprehensive investment management and financial planning firm based in New York City and Melville, NY. He was educated at the State University of New York at Binghamton and the College for Financial Planning, and holds a B.S. in Accounting. Mr. Frisch is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial Planning Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
