About the speakers

William J. Wiatrowski is Associate Commissioner for Compensation and Working Conditions at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, responsible for the National Compensation Survey and the Bureau’s Occupational Safety and Health Statistics Programs. These programs provide comprehensive information on employee wages and benefits and serve as the nation’s public health surveillance systems for work-related fatal injuries and non-fatal injuries and illnesses. William received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and the History of Art from Yale University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from The George Washington University. He is the author of numerous articles on employee benefits, compensation, and occupational safety and health issues and has spoke on these topics before a wide variety of audiences.

Bedda D’Angelo, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, is President of Fiduciary Solutions, Inc. in Durham, North Carolina. Fiduciary Solutions provides comprehensive tax, insurance, and estate planning services. With over 25 years of industry experience, Bedda draws on a broad knowledge base in financial planning, investment management, and trust administration to develop personalized financial plans for her clients. Before founding Fiduciary Solutions, Bedda held executive positions in the banking and investment management industries. She has been quoted in Business Week, Newsweek, Forbes, CBS Marketwatch, Smart Money, Bloomberg Wealth Manager, and the Journal of Financial Planning. Bedda is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Michael J. Fitzgerald, Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, is President and a Principal of Fitzgerald Financial Partners, LLC and an Investment Advisor Representative of a fee-only registered investment advisory firm, Fitzgerald Financial Partners, LLC in Houston, Texas. He provides financial life planning and investment advice to clients in Houston and throughout the U.S. Michael was recently selected to the 2008 Guide to America’s Top Financial Advisors. Michael earned his Masters in Tax Consulting from Texas A&M University as well as a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting.
